My personal opinion (and I have no substantiation for this) is that Metavante messed up big time around the first of the year when they had a major issue with the bill pay system on their end.and users flooded them with support phone calls and emails because they couldn't get any bills paid at all. That pretty much left Quicken to scramble to find a new bill paying system within Quicken. The contract with Metavante expires actually May 31, 2020.and Metavante decided they will no longer offer their services to Quicken.
You could do Bill Pay through Quicken.or actually through Metavante's website.
